Our Mission
When creating TEEXAS we wanted to do one thing. Utilize simple solutions to solve big problems. We feel that by helping the individual directly we're able to make a more meaningful difference when fighting poverty.
We chose to focus on women because in some areas women are at the biggest disadvantage and feel our interest free loans can help provide them with an initial capital boost for their start-up. These contributions have been proven to make a larger positive impact on the household than just lending the head male of the family.
Our objective is to allow these fledgling entrepreneurs to successfully build a start up business by not pushing them farther in debt with interest payments. We hope that at the end of the loan term, these entrepreneurs will have self-sustaining businesses that will continue to grow and thrive, which will help these women and their communities.
